Historic Move
Since 2017, King’s Resort in Rozvadov hosted the WSOP Europe, becoming a key event in the international circuit.
But in 2026, the event will be held at the prestigious Hilton Prague, in partnership with King’s Casino Prague, from March 31 to April 12.
This strong move aims to give poker players a unique experience in a city known for its vibrancy and poker passion.
What’s Changing?
This relocation comes with a calendar shift—the next edition will be in spring instead of autumn, coinciding with the Irish Poker Open and sparking discussions in the community.
The festival will feature 15 bracelet tournaments and debut WSOP+, a new app dedicated to participants (registration, real-time results tracking, instant info).
Why Prague?
Prague is no random choice: the Czech capital is one of the temples of European poker, thanks to its thriving casinos and a tradition of welcoming top world players. With WSOP Europe’s arrival, the city strengthens its status and expands its influence on the international circuit.
What Changes for Players
For players, amateurs or professionals, this relocation means adapting bankroll management (travel, accommodation, buy-ins, online satellites via GGPoker for qualifiers from abroad). Prague promises a different atmosphere, new standards for organization… and the prestige of winning a WSOP bracelet in a historic city.
A Final Word on Rozvadov
The last edition in Rozvadov was a true grand finale: Daniel Pidun won the 2025 Main Event, marking the end of a glorious
era before turning the page to WSOP’s Prague saga.
